He also dropped the bombshell that he, Ryan Reynolds, hates 'Frozen'.

The real reason of course is that he's watched the movie far too many times with his two daughters. One is aged four, and the other two, and no doubt he's lost count of the amount of times he's heard 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman'.

Ryan revealed in his interview with Ellen DeGeneres that his new movie was born partially out of his hatred for the Disney musical. 'Once Upon A Deadpool' is set to be a PG-friendlier rehash of one 2018's biggest movies, 'Deadpool 2'. The actor has said that many parents would always ask him to make a movie that both parents and children could enjoy - and thus the movie was created. We'll just ignore the fact that some guy tweeted the story to Ryan a year ago then...

'Once Upon A Deadpool' will feature Fred Savage from 'The Wonder Years,' as well as having a majority of the 18s-rated bits removed. However, the movie will still bear a 15A age rating here in Ireland, despite it being awarded PG in The States. For every ticket sold, $1 will go to the charity Fudge Cancer (renamed for the PG-13 release).

'Once Upon A Deadpool' will play in Irish cinemas for one night only, on December 11th.
