He's baaaack. Yes, Robin Williams is finally coming back to the television screen, and with none other than Buffy The Vampire Slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar. The pair have teamed up for a new CBS comedy, and after a rather successful pilot season, The Crazy Ones has officially been picked up for a full series.

The show sees Robin and Sarah play a father-daughter team of advertising executives. He's a larger-than-life genius with some rather unorthodox methods, but the one thing he needs is his daughter at his side. She's got the focus, drive, and determination to keep them, and the business, on track.  James Wolk (Mad Men) joins the team as the dashing and talented Zach, Hamish Linklater plays art director Andrew, who is as hard-working as he is neurotic; and Gossip Girl's Amanda Setton is the beautiful and deceptively smart assistant Lauren. PLUS, Kelly Clarkson stars in the pilot.

We don't know about you, but we think CBS could be on to a winner. They'll face some tough competition from Michael J Fox though, eh? What's with all these big stars coming back to d'telly anyway?

The Crazy Ones hits US TV screens later this year, with a European broadcast date yet to be confirmed.
