"Adopt this dog and she can tell you what Han Solo's butt smells like."

If you've got a spare seven and a half minutes today, why not take a load off and watch some cute puppies bond with Oscar Isaac? Go on, it's nearly the weekend.

The new Marvel superhero ('Moon Knight' is streaming now on Disney+) dropped in on Stephen Colbert's late-night chat show yesterday to help find the cutest rescue animals a new home in the US.

Taking part in the segment called 'Rescue Dog Rescue', which Colbert revealed has had a 100% success rate so far, Isaac and the chat show host introduce each precious bundle of joy in the hopes of finding them a home with either the audience members or people at home. Other guests who have joined the segment in the past include Tom Holland, Aubrey Plaza and Whoopi Goldberg.

Needless to say, when the pups start appearing, the audience begins melting into "Awwwhhhhs", instantly wanting to take a little pupper for themselves. And with names such as Babs, Goose, Sterling and Crinkles - who could blame them?

The puppies held by Oscar Isaac and Stephen Colbert each have their own unique backstory, which are completely true in case you thought otherwise. The colourful lives these little doggies have lived in their short time on Earth include sniffing Harrison Ford's behind, being high-stakes gamblers, and one pooch even having the honour of playing the role of Timothée Chalamet's fluffy hair in 'Dune'.

Here's the video in all of its adorable glory.

Catch Oscar Isaac (so far puppy-less) in 'Moon Knight' on Disney+ now. The actor is also lined up to play Solid Snake in the 'Metal Gear Solid' movie, which begins shooting later this year.
