It's long been reported that Prince was set to make a special guest appearance on TV show New Girl, but now we hear that the music legend is to debut new songs on the show as well! And apparently the new music has the entire cast 'going nuts'.
The star will feature in the show's upcoming Superbowl episode this Sunday, so this brand new music is only days away from our ears! New Girl star Jake Johnson told MTV news: "He performs an original song, that I believe hasn't been released yet [...] So we all got to watch a little concert. The episode ends with a performance. The song's awesome and watching him perform was kind of next level. So, it's a really cool conclusion to it all. ... It sounds like a Prince song. It sounded good. He had everybody in that room dancing. Everybody was kind of going nuts."
Jake, who is a huge fan of the pop icon, went on to say: "He's also just a genuinely talented human being. He's obviously Prince the musician, but he's a really good actor. And I think people will see in the episode that he's legitimately good and he's legitimately funny."
The show's star Zooey Deschanel also shared Jake's admiration and told America's OK! magazine recently: "I sort of half expected him to appear out of thin air or propel himself from the sky. But, no, he walked in like a normal person."
So then this trailer showing Jess and Nick's hilarious reaction to meeting the star probably didn't involve much acting then?
