It's been a great year for Irish actor Aidan Turner whose breakout role in BBC's Poldark has catapulted him to fame. He's even becoming quite the poster boy across the pond too nowadays as a US channel has started airing the show there.
And now Turner has nabbed himself a TV Choice Award nominee in the UK as he competes for Best Actor alongside Doctor Who's Peter Capaldi, The Missing's James Nesbitt and David Tennant of Broadchurch.
While fellow Irishman Graham Norton is up for a gong in the Best Entertainment Show category and will compete against Top Gear, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Celebrity Juice.
