Rugrats animator Eric Molinsky has released the definitive drawings of what the characters from the Nickelodeon show would have looked like as grown ups.
Molinksy wrote a piece for Studio360 in which he laments the versions of the characters created by fans that illustrate the characters as "fashion models" and "self-confident" hipsters and thus decided to release his own version in an effort to end the debate.
Molinsky released the images with a definitive statement to quash the "hipster" theory: "So no. The Rugrats did not all grow up to be fashion models or self-confident hipsters. Especially not Chuckie."
Poor Chuckie, that guy just can't catch a break.
