Yikes. Looks like ITV and Philip Schofield could be in a bit of trouble after the presenter "accidentally" flashed the names of suspected Tory paedophiles while grilling British Prime Minister David Cameron on This Morning today.

Cameron was on the show to discuss a new drive on tackling dementia, but was ambushed as the conversation was turned towards Jimmy Savile and current inquiries into suspected child abuse cases going back as far as the 1970s, Schofield saying "There could have been a cover-up, a paedophile ring amongst the elite of great Britain that led all the way to Downing Street". As Cameron moved to control the situation and urged for caution on the speculation and the reporting of any suspicions to the police, Schofield then produced a list which he said he got from a "cursory glance" online. Watch in the clip below.

With several different investigations into monumental child abuse claims taking place in the UK in the wake of the Savile story, Cameron refused to look at the list and warned against the situation turning into a "witch hunt, particularly against people who are gay". Whether that statement is indicative of the unnamed suspects sexuality or simply prejudice on Cameron's part is unclear, but either way it's a helluva dangerous statement to be making on live TV. Be prepared to hear about this story for a good while, as it's going to run and run.
