It's been two long years but at last a new season of 'Peaky Blinders' is on the way and now we have a juicy trailer to give us a taste of what we can expect from Thomas Shelby and the gang in season 5.
It teases Tommy's new far-right enemy Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) while there's lots of talk of hanging and death. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Tommy's new child with Lizzie Stark (Natasha O'Keeffe) and his new American love interest played by Anya Taylor-Joy.
We still don't have an air date however but no doubt that announcement is imminent.
Take a look at the trailer below:
The official synopsis from the new season of 'Peaky Blinders' reads: "Series five of Steven Knight’s crime family saga finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929. Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere. When Tommy Shelby MP (Cillian Murphy) is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realises that his response will affect not just his family’s future but that of the entire nation."
There will also be four new Irish additions to the show as Charlene McKenna, Brian Gleeson, Emmett J. Scanlan and former 'Fair City' star Daryl McCormack join the cast.
