TV presenter Paul O'Grady has signed up for role in Holby City.
O' Grady will appear in three episodes of the show, playing the role of cancer patient Tim O' Connor, due to air in September. O'Grady is said to be delighted about the new role saying, 'I'm a big fan of Holby City so to be featuring in three episodes is absolutely brilliant.'
Executive producer Oliver Kent said about having the star on the show, 'Having Paul appear in Holby City is such a great coup for the show.'Paul has a vibrant personality and a very unique way of engaging with the audience - not to mention he's incredibly funny. This is exactly what we need for a storyline that will be filled with a rollercoaster of emotions.'
Holby City airs every Tuesday on BBC1 at 8pm.
