One of the most talked-about actors of 2020 will be taking to the hot seat in tonight's episode.

With Sky Art’s 'Portrait Artist of the Year' currently airing, we've been waiting weeks for tonight's episode of the hit competition series air. Sure, it's only yer man Paul Mescal.

Mescal has had all of the spotlight placed firmly onto him this year, due to his break-out role in 'Normal People' opposite Daisy Edgar-Jones.

On tonight's episode, host Stephen Mangan will be introducing one of the biggest stars of 2020 to the group of painters, to which one of them replies: "My friends are going to be so jealous!"

Joining Paul in tonight's episode are a couple of other very recognisable faces too. Sian Clifford, who you'll know from 'Fleabag' and 'Two Weeks To Live' will also be taking a seat, as will actor Eddie Marsan from 'Deadpool 2' and 'The World's End'.

The seventh series of 'Portrait Artist of the Year' has already seen a host of celebrity sitters get their mugs painted. Katie Piper, James Nesbitt, and The Vivienne from 'Drag Race UK' are just some of the 24 celebrities who have taken part in the series so far.

Here's the short clip of when Paul Mescal walks into the artists' studio for the first time on tonight's episode.

Episode six of 'Portrait Artist of the Year' season seven airs tonight at 8pm on Sky Arts.
