What better way to teach your kid some pearls of wisdom than from an inspirational (and fictional) woman - now in cartoon form.
That' right all you Leslie Knope fanboys and girls out there, there's a 'Parks and Recreation' children's book on the way which you'll soon be able to read to your little ones (or buy for yourself, we won't judge).
'Parks and Recreation: Leslie for Class President' will see the titular blazer-wearing goofball character run for class president of Pawnee Elementary (to be more relatable to the kids, of course). Readers should expect the usual high-jinks from Leslie, who will be joined by her classmates Ben Wyatt, Ron Swanson, April Ludgate, Andy Dwyer, Tom Haverford, Donna Meagle, Jerry/Gary/Larry, and of course rainbow-infused space unicorn, and best friend, Ann Perkins.
The book is written by Robb Pearlman and illustrated by Melanie Demmer, and promises to be full of jokes and easter eggs from the TV series.
The 'Parks and Recreation' children's book won't be released until June 2021. If you head over to the Little, Brown and Company website, you can pre-order the eBook version of the book (the physical copy isn't yet available to Europe).
And in case you weren't aware, there's also 'The US Office' children's book available from the same people. 'The Office: A Day at Dunder Mifflin Elementary' is available to purchase right now.

Recently, the cast of 'Parks and Recreation' teamed up for a reunion special, and they held a "Town Hall" meeting for Joe Biden's Presidential election campaign.
