Many of us scratched our heads when we heard Noel Gallagher was going to be on Brendan O'Connor's show.
"You mean the Late Late, right?" was the common response to hearing this. Alas, it was true - Brendan O'Connor was getting a guest you could actually pick out of a line-up.
However, O'Connor clearly botched this attempt at crossing over into the big leagues, as evidenced by Twitter's reaction.

As well as a poorly-handled interview, there were accusations against Gallagher that he was (gasp) miming on TV.
