Say goodbye to Barney and hello to the new Count Olaf.

Yes, Neil Patrick Harris is coming back to TV screens in Netflix's take on 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' as the dastardly villain of the series that, if it's anything like the film adaptation, should be full of high camp and danger. Right up his street really.

Per Deadline:

Narrated by Snicket, A Series Of Unfortunate Events recounts the tale of the orphaned children Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny Baudelairseries-unfortunate-events-netflixe at the hands of the villainous Count Olaf (Harris), as they face trials and tribulations, misfortunes and an evil uncle in search of their fortune, all in their quest to uncover the secret of their parents’ deaths.

Jim Carey famously brought the Count to life on the big screen and Harris will be filling his shoes once the show begins filming this month.
