Staying in this weekend? Here's three movies you need to watch this weekend on TV.
Friday - TV3
9PM - Step Brothers
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly star in one of the former's best comedies in years. Two man-children are forced to come together when Ferrell's mother and Reilly's father get married. Naturally, the two don't get on at all and war with each other. Everyone's got their favourite moment - whether it's Ferrell's balls on Reilly's drumset or the Catalina Wine Mixer. Our favourite bit? I'VE TRAVELLED FIVE HUNDRED MILES TO GIVE YOU MY SEED.
Saturday - RTE 2
9.25PM - The Fugitive
Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones star in one of the best action films of the '90s. Dr. Richard Kimble is framed and convicted of the murder of his wife, but manages to escape following a horrific accident and goes on the run. Before long, US Marshals - led by Lee Jones - take off after him in a desperate chase across the US. Brilliantly staged and expertly paced, Lee Jones and Ford give some of their best work here. After 24 years, The Fugitive still holds up. Also worth it for The Simpsons reference, too.
Sunday - Channel 4
11.10PM - End Of Watch
Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena star in this gritty, found-footage cop thriller about two LAPD officers whose cavalier attitudes lead them to becoming targets of a ruthless gang of Mexican drug dealers. Directed by David Ayer, it's an interesting take on the genre and Gyllenhaal is reliably good in the role and works in its own right. Worth a watch.
