Good news today for Michael J. Fox! Despite his show getting cancelled yesterday, CBS have confirmed Michael J. Fox will be returning to The Good Wife.
Reprising his role as Louis Canning,the actor will return for the fifth season which will air next month. This news comes following the announcement yesterday that The Michael J Fox Show was being axed due to poor ratings. The show has only aired 15 installments out of 22 so it remains to be seen if the rest of the series will be broadcast.
This news might not come as a huge surprise after last month the NBC Chairman described the show as an, 'uphill battle.' The show marked Fox's return to the small screen who hadn't had a leading role since Spin City in 2000.
The Good Wife returns to CBS on the 9th March.
