One of TV's most addictive shows has lost its co-host as Max Joseph has announced he is leaving 'Catfish'.
Max and Nev Schulman have presented the popular MTV show together for seven seasons but now he is off to pastures new.
He announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday night (August 8):

Nev also took to Twitter to pay tribute to his co-host saying: "I'm going to miss him a lot. He's my best friend. Period."

As Nev says, Max has a burgeoning career as a film director and wrote and directed 2015's 'We Are Your Friends'.
Max's final episode will air on August 22.
Sigh. It's the end of a catfishing era.
