After a brief hiatus, Lucy Kennedy is hoping to be back on our screens this September with not one but two shows. The presenter had to look into new projects after her 2fm radio show and TV show 'Living with Lucy' were axed.

Kennedy has two different shows in the pipeline for both RTE and TV3. Speaking to the Herald.ie, she said 'I have two TV shows lined up - one for RTE and one for TV3.' Not only will she be presenting them, but it is also an idea she developed herself, 'There are two ideas in the mix. I've developed both of them myself and am very excited about them. It just depends on which station jumps first'.

Dependent on which station picks up first, we will either be seeing Kennedy hosting a light hearted daytime chat show, which, would go up against RTE's Today show. 'It'll be a chat show and I'll be fronting it. It's very quirky. It will have that Livin' With Lucy vibe to it,' she explained. 'It's a daily show. And it has a big twist - I can't say what exactly that is but it'll definitely keep viewers tuning in'.

However, if that fails we could very well see Kennedy as the next Cilla Black, as the mum of two has developed a dating show for women. 'I would love, love, love to do a dating show, I wanted to do a version of Blind Date and be Ireland's answer to Cilla Black, but that fell through. So I've come up with a new format. It's a dating show but aimed at women in their mid-30s.'
