If you loved her in Misfits and (of course) Love/Hate then you might want to keep an eye on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D because Irish actress Ruth Negga has just landed her first big US TV role in the brand new ABC series.
As per Deadline, Ruth joins Clark Gregg and co for what is thought to be a multi-episode arc, though details of her character have yet to be revealed. We have to say, we're very excited to see how she gets on with the team. Sure wasn't Rosie one tough cookie?
We've already mentioned that Ruth is no stranger to the screen as this stage, given that she's had so many roles in the likes of Love Is The Drug, Misfits, Criminal Justice, Secret State and even World War Z, but this really is a very exciting development for the actress. Here's hoping the US TV bosses see what our girl can do!
