In terms of life imitating art, this one genre where you would want the two to be as far away from each other as possible. Unfortunately that wasn't the case late last night for one actor from RTÉ's Love/Hate.
According to the Irish Mirror, 20-year-old Leroy Harris, who became infamous last year when his character Glen was involved in a scene where a cat was killed (which you'll remember the uproar around), was shot in the leg in Dublin overnight after being approached by a lone gunman in the Rutland Cottages area of the city centre around 3.40am.
Cathal McMahon, news and crime reporter for the Irish Mirror reported the incident as it broke this morning.

Harris, who was with a friend at the time, was rushed to the Mater hospital where he received treatment for his injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening, and Harris is expected to leave hospital this morning. His friend was unharmed in the attack, and Gardaí are saying they suspect the shooting was a case of mistaken identity and that they had yet to speak to Mr. Harris.
