Irish contestant Yewande is getting the short end of the stick on 'Love Island' and everyone knows it.
Last night's episode was almost entirely centred on Lucie and whether one of the new boys who entered the 'Love Island' villa would choose her in the recoupling. As it happened, Tommy did 'steal' Lucy from Joe. Meanwhile, there was some screen time for Yewande when she chatted to Curtis but ultimately, he picked Amy.
Mind you, Yewande was still absent for most of the episode, and has been getting little attention from the boys generally. It didn't go unnoticed by 'Love Island' fans, who took to Twitter to express their frustration.

Can we bring Yewande back home pls, she’s overqualified #LoveIsland

Some are comparing her to last year's contestant, Samira. They've also pointed out that this is something we've seen on the reality series time and again.
Yewande is a flame but she shouldn’t be on #LoveIsland they never cast people who appreciate all that sauce. Look at Samira from last year. She would struggle during the experience

I feel like samira is experiencing deja-vu through yewande’s experience on #LoveIsland 😭😭

I’m convinced the boys from love island are stupid. Yewande got the looks the brains and she’s genuinely looking for a long term relationship yet nobody is going for her. Same shit happened with Samira last year. Are these guys okay ?? #LoveIsland

I’m hoping yewande’s knight in shining armour walks in real soon. As I do NOT want her to have a heart tugging experience like Samira did. She’s another queen who deserves a king 👑 #LoveIsland

Hahahaha! My thoughts exactly. Truly. Had the exact same thoughts and observations - and expectations. Because... of course. Of course that was going to happen.
"One's an incident, two's a coincidence, and three's a pattern." History repeats itself. Poor Yewande. #LoveIsland https://t.co/d64sMzyzxA
