YASSSS. Finally, Lauren Conrad has accepted her trashy reality TV beginnings and agreed to return to MTV for a 10-year reunion special of The Hills.

Cancel your plans for August 2nd because you know you'll just want to sit in and watch this, hoping that at least one person refers to the infamous 'I want to forgive you and I want to forget you' line. Ooh, the burn to beat all burns.

The reality TV star turned author and lifestyle blogging extraordinaire shared the news on Twitter as well as writing a post about her memories of the show.

"As hard as it is to look back (other than watching the pilot, I haven’t watched any episodes since they first aired), it brings me a lot of joy to see that now, despite all the challenges we faced together back then, each of us seems to have found what we were looking for." 

Those who are at chomping at the bit to see the original cast members back on one screen can look forward to an 'honest conversation' about how difficult it was for Lauren to have her 'poor make-up choices' immortalised on screen and 'behind the scenes secrets' on what life was really like. 

With LC on board, we can only assume that Heidi and Spencer would join rank too, given that they're not exactly wallflowers when it comes to a spot of publicity.
