The one and only Lady Gaga started out her acting career in one of the greatest TV shows ever made.

Way before Lady Gaga was making us all cry uncontrollably in 'A Star Is Born', and even before she dominated the charts with her singing career, she was just another hard-working girl desperately trying to break Hollywood. Back in 2001, at the tender age of 15, she started out her acting career as an uncredited extra in 'The Sopranos'.

If you never spotted Gaga before this, we'll forgive you - her acting gig was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment. Taking place during season three, episode nine, entitled 'The Telltale Moozadell', Gaga plays the role of "Girl at swimming pool #2". She didn't even have any lines in the scene, but instead sat laughing, smoking, and drinking Coca-Cola while the debauchery unfolded in front of her and a friend.

Here is the short clip for your enjoyment.

It just goes to show, don't give up on your dreams all you aspiring actors and singers out there - you might just win that Oscar yet.

Speaking of 'The Sopranos', a movie prequel is on the cards for release in 2020. James Gandolfini's son Michael has been cast as a young Tony Soprano. The other cast of 'The Many Saints of Newark' include Alessandro Nivola ('American Hustle'), Vera Farmiga ('The Front Runner'), and Jon Bernthal ('The Punisher'). David Chase, original writer of 'The Sopranos,' has written the script with Lawrence Konner, and Alan Taylor ('Thor: The Dark World') will direct.
