After the miserable humiliation of that 7-1 defeat to the Germans, Brazil have two choices in their 3rd and 4th place play off on Saturday night. Cry into their Caipirinhas or come out fighting and try to salvage some respect from this debacle. Kick off is at 9pm and coverage begins at 8.30pm on RTE Two.

And for the big one, Gilesy and the boys open proceedings at 7pm on RTE Two Sunday night with the kick off at the slightly earlier time of 8pm. Most World Cup Finals are notoriously cagey but Germany are firm favourites and judging by the Holland match, Messi and the Argentinians look tired. However, it's a strange aul' sport and the hope is that the South Americans could lift their game and make a cracker of it. Don't hold your breath though.
