Katie Holmes may be joining former Dawson's Creek co-star James Van Der Beek in well received TV series, Don't Mess with the Bitch in Apartment 23, if the actor got his way.
The Dawson himself was chatting to TV Guide, and said "I'd love to see her saucier side. I think it would be fun if she came on as herself, but a demented, bizarro version." So if she had ACTUALLY gone all scientology, then? Van Der Beek's co-star, Krysten Ritter (she plays the titular Bitch) also would like to see Joey Potter and Dawson Leery reunite. "I think it would be really funny if there is some sort of bad blood between her and James that's not really been addressed," she stated. "For example, if she thinks it's his funeral and she shows up in a red dress with champagne, like, 'Ding dong, the Beek is dead'." I'd probably let the writers come up with the ideas, love, safer that way. We all know what happened to Joey in Friends.
Van Der Beek has been funny, charming and self-effacing on any interview I've seen him do to promote the show. He obviously has a sense of humour about himself. Still haven’t seen the show, mind.
