James Corden is currently in the midst of a Late Late Show trip to London - ala David Letterman in the mid-90s - and it's going very well.

The British talk show host last night had a surprise guest who brought the audience to their feet.

Handsome-movie-star-believably-masquerading-as-a-character-actor, Jake Gyllenhaal turned up but wasn't interviewed. Instead, the duo sang a wistful tribute to Whitney Houston.

Nicely done.

Gyllenhaal has Spiderman: Far From Home in cinemas in a couple of weeks.
