On this week's episode of 'The Telly Show', TV Editor Fiona Flynn chats to comedian, actor and TV presenter Kevin McGahern.

Kevin has been doing stand-up for years but he's also a familiar face on the small screen. He presented 'Republic of Telly' for five years, while he's also known to many as Simcard in 'Hardy Bucks', and you may have seen him traipsing around America Louis-Theroux-style a few years ago for some great documentaries for RTÉ.

Not only that, but Kevin hit the big screen in 2017 to star in the independent feature film 'No Party for Billy Burns'.

Kevin chats about all of this and more including how he got started, what he thinks of the comedy scene in Ireland at the moment, as well as how politically correct culture can be tackled by comedians.

Kevin is touring the country at the moment with his new show 'Solo Pollo' - you can get more info about tickets and dates here.
