It's been a long three weeks or so - longer for some than for others - with many highs and lows.

But last night, the latest winner of 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' was crowned as BBC radio presenter Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle.

Thompson beat former boxer Tony Bellew into second place, while rather shockingly, former UKIP leader - and the reason that many people boycotted this year's series - Nigel Farage finished in third place.

However, it seems that Bellew, at least, wasn't too upset by losing to Thompson as the pair formed a firm friendship during their stint in the jungle, with Bellew telling hosts Ant and Dec that the reality star and presenter was like a "fifth son" to him, adding: "I definitely think I was put here to be around Sam."

Thompson, meanwhile, said: "I am so grateful, thank you so much, I’ve dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you made this boy’s dream come true."

Meanwhile, Thompson was met on the bridge by his best friend and co-podcast host Pete Wicks.
