Claire Danes
has been revealing some details about the highly anticipated third season of Homeland.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Danes confirmed that she will be separated from Brody, played by Damien Lewis, at the beginning of the series. 'He's on the run and Carrie's been tracking his course but isn't entirely sure where he is at any given moment.'

Danes also revealed that Carrie's relationship with Saul alters saying it won't be 'as simpatico'. We can also expect a more complex character when it comes to Saul. 'Saul has amazing stuff this season,' she said. 'Up until this point, he's only been presented as utterly sympathetic and kind. We see a much more complex portrait of him here. That's great, because he's such a rich character.'

Homeland stars have promised it's going to be a dark season and paves way for a fourth season. Mandy Patinkin, who plays Saul said about thisseason, 'I think [these writers] go into new territory that I haven't imagined. I'm already able to see where some possibilities are existing for season four by what's happening and I think these writers are as good as they come or have ever been.

The show premiered in the US already but we will have to wait a little longer for it to come to these shores. However, it sounds like it will be worth the wait. Fox 21's Bert Salke has told viewers to expect a different more emotional show. Cue Danes cry face.
