Last night celebrities stepped out in their finery for one of the biggest nights in UK entertainment of the year. While accepting their award, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were unceremoniously booed.

After skip-gate, when Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were reportedly seen hopping the extraordinarily long queue to see the Queen lying in state last month upon her death, it seems the talk show duo have somewhat plummeted in public favour.

Last night the pair took to the stage at the National Television Awards to accept their award for Best Daytime show for 'This Morning'. After reportedly being booed during their appearance, Willoughby allegedly departed the awards show prematurely. Here's what everyone's saying about it.
