If you thought there was no time for love while in lockdown, then think again.

Bloc TG4's new comedy series 'Le Ceangal' (which translates to 'Fit to be Tied'), has premiered over on their YouTube channel today.

Throughout the eight five-minute-long episodes, we'll see how two young Tinder users carry on with their very new relationship by using the power of video calls. The tricky part is that the pair of them, who first matched on Tinder, are both based on opposite sides of the country.

Galway-based Declan and Dubliner Aoife managed to go on five successful dates just as they were starting to get to know each-other. However, everything going on with the world struck as they are about to broach the tricky "should we both come off Tinder now?" question. And now they're in lockdown, in two different cities, with two different Wifi speeds. You can imagine the stress.

The series stars Eoin Ó Dubhghaill as Declan (who starred in Tomás Ó Súilleabháin's wonderful 'Arracht') and Eva-Jane Gaffney as Aoife (who starred in the brilliant 'Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope'), with Oisín Mistéil as the helmer of the series.

Here's the trailer for 'Le Ceangal'.

The first two episodes are on Bloc TG4's YouTube channel already, and each Friday there will be two new episodes added at 1pm.
