There's always a creepy kid in horrors, and this new series takes that uneasy concept and really dives headfirst into it.

The first trailer for HBO and Sky's production 'The Baby' has hit our screens, proving that our little ones can sometimes act like real demons.

The Sky Original series, produced by SISTER (Emmy, BAFTA and Golden Globe winner 'Chernobyl'; 'Landscapers', the Olivia Colman and David Thewlis' hit from 2021) will air on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW later this year.

The eight-part horror/comedy series will be a darkly funny and raw examination of motherhood, all from the perspective of a woman who doesn’t want to be one. Naturally, she gets landed with a demonic baby, and it turns out that it's not the only one that she encounters, turning her life into a surreal horror show.

English actor Michelle De Swarte (Netflix's 'The Duchess') leads the cast as 38-year-old Natasha, who is furious that her closest friends are all having babies. However, once she gets landed with a baby of her own, her life gets flipped on its head as she becomes desperate in her attempt to get rid of her little bundle of hell.

The series also stars Amira Ghazalla ('The Rhythm Section', 'Carnival Row') as Mrs. Eaves, the 70-year-old enigma who has spent the last fifty years living out of her car; Amber Grappy ('Wrecked') as Bobbi, Natasha’s younger sister; Tanya Reynolds ('Sex Education') as Helen; and Genesis Lynea ('A Discovery of Witches') as Sam.

If you've ever felt that your little bundle of joy is Satan reincarnated at times, this series is for you. Here's the demented trailer.

'The Baby' will air on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW later in 2022.
