The sun may be shining at the minute, but as we know we're only ever a light breeze away from summer heading away on us. So we've made a contingency plan for all those days when you'd rather take shelter from the outside world and get yourself snug with a cuppa and some Netflix.

There will be plenty to keep you going too with a HAPE load of new shows, films and series' arriving this month.

Orange is the New Black - Season Two

First up, has to be season two of Orange is the New Black. Anyone who has watched the first season knows just how entertaining the drama of the Litchfield inmates is, although things did take quite a dark turn so it will be interesting to see what season two has to offer. Netflix releases all thirteen episodes on Friday 6th June so binge away to your hearts content.

Archer

Around the halfway point in the month you can watch season four and five of popular American animated comedy Archer. The show has proved a hit with viewers and in these seasons you will see it move away from Cold War-inspired espionage setting and shows the characters embarking on a life of crime as they attempt to sell a "literal tonne of cocaine" to reach early retirement.

Only God Forgives

If you're missing Ryan Gosling on the big screen these days, you can get your fill here in this dark Danish-French crime film. He plays Julian, a drug-smuggler thriving in Bangkok criminal underworld who sees his life get even more complicated when his mother compels him to find and kill whoever is responsible for his brother's recent death.

A Belfast Story

Colm Meaney and Malcolm Sinclair star in this film which explores life after terrorism in Belfast city. Times have changed but old habits die hard and one man just can't let go of the past. Sounds like gripping stuff, and sure we love a bit of Colm.

Brave Miss World

This compelling documentary tells the story of Miss Israel Linor Abargil, who was abducted, stabbed, and raped in Milan, Italy, at age 18, and had to represent her country in the Miss World Competition just six weeks later. To her shock, she was crowned the winner and decided to use her new position to do something about rape - to fight for justice for victims and to break the silence. An unbelievably inspiring story of a young woman who went from a teenage rape victim to Miss World to empowered lawyer and activist.

Lovelace

This 2013 American biographical film stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda Boreman, who became better known as Linda Lovelace, a famous American porn star in seventies. It covers her life from about 20 to 32 and co-stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Adam Brody, and Juno Temple. Amanda is undoubtedly sensational in this and it even features James Franco as a very young and charming Hugh Heffner.

Everyone Says I Love You

If you're hankering for a good ensemble movie, or are even just in a Woody Allen frame of mind, you should check out this 1996 American musical comedy. It stars a whole rake of talent including Woody Allen himself, Julia Roberts, Alan Alda, Edward Norton, Drew Barrymore, Gaby Hoffmann, Tim Roth, Goldie Hawn, Natasha Lyonne and Natalie Portman. And most of them are singing too! Very strange. While this flick didn't do well commercially, it is one of the more critically successful of Allen's later films.
