The Hardy Bucks lads make their return to TV this autumn for a brand new series of the comedy show following on from the success of their feature film two years ago.

All the gang are back, Martin Maloney as Eddie Durkan, Chris Tordoff as The Viper, and Owen Colgan as Buzz McDonnall, and in between the usual mayhem and bad behaviour, the lads get caught up in a Mayo love triangle.

This  triangle may include one of the two new lovely ladies joining the cast, as Fair City’s Aoibheann McCaul and Susan Loughnane from Love/Hate are set to take part in the six episode series.

Also, the Viper tries to come to terms with a broken heart whilst running his new business venture. Frenchtoast may or may not be back on the sauce, and Boo and Koffi may or may not be getting married.

Hardy Bucks Producer and Director Mike Cockayne commented: “It’s great to be back filming again, we’re like family now and I really feel that this series will be the best yet. The lads are all on top form and the biggest challenge we’re going to face is fitting all of this great material into a half hour.”

Channel Controller for RTÉ2 Bill Malone said: “RTÉ2 is passionate about creating original Irish comedy and I’m delighted to announce that Hardy Bucks is returning to RTÉ2 for a third series. After the success of their feature film, viewers will get to see what’s next for the Hardy Bucks crew."

Looking forward to seeing what shenanigans the lads get up to this time round. Shure they're as mad as a bag of spiders that lot.
