When it comes to smash hit US TV shows we all know the stars are paid a sickening amount of money, but every once in a while Forbes likes to make us feel even worse about our jobs by putting together a list of those folks who earn quite a bit more than we do.

This year, Ashton Kutcher topped the bill for a second year running, thanks in no small part to his role on Two And A Half Men. Kutcher pulled in a cool $24 million between June 2012 and June 2013 for playing Walden Schmidt, while his co-star Jon Cryer came in second with $21 million.

Everybody Loves Raymond's Ray Romano was a surprise entry at number 3: The cash he earns from all those re-runs combined with a stint on hit TV show Parenthood left him rolling in a rather cool $16 million just ahead of Neil Patrick Harris and NCIS's Mark Harmon.

Meanwhile, Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey was next with $13 million, followed by Kutcher's former co-star Angus T Jones at number 7, Tim Allen at number 8 and Dexter star Michael C Hall at number 9.

Funnily enough Charlie Sheen, the very fella whom Ashton replaced, rounded off the Top 10 with a tasty £10 million. Do you think he'd lend us a few quid, y'know, so we could actually get a cheap bottle of wine?
