It feels as though we haven't heard from Lena Dunham in quite a while so we imagine that fans of the writer and actress will be delighted to discover that HBO has confirmed her smash hit TV series Girls will return to TV screens in January.
Season 3 will be a rather tasty twelve episodes long (that's two more than the last for those of you who aren't familiar with the show) and it will debut on the US of A on HBO with a double bill on January 12th. All of the original cast bar one (Christopher Abbott aka Charlie - remember we told you about his creative differences with Ms Dunham?) will be back in action with some very special guest stars lined up too.
It still isn't clear when Season 3 will hit our shores but if their track record is anything to go by, here's hoping Sky Atlantic picks it up less than 24 hours after it airs. That certainly went down a treat during Season 2, eh?
We're rather looking forward to the show's return, if not just to see what Richard E Grant gets up to when he makes his guest appearance in the season opener...
