Six seasons and a movie!
Actually it'll be more like seven, or eight, or as many as they can milk, but at the end of it we may also see a Game of Thrones movie.
George R.R. Martin, the author of the book series, has said that HBO are looking into making a film version to join the television series.
According to The Daily Star, Martin revealed at a post-Emmy's afterparty that “there will be a movie but I will not be involved.
“I have too much to do. That is something HBO and the DB and David are dealing with.
“I have two more books to finish and I still have so much to do.
“The pressure is on. I am such a slow writer and the fans get upset that I don’t write faster.”
Fair enough, George, you go back to the books, and hurry up because the world might just go into meltdown if we have to wait any longer for an end to this thing.
