Game of Thrones
fans rejoice! GOT creator George R.R. Martin has signed a new deal with HBO that will see him stay on to co-executive produce the hit TV show for AT LEAST two more years.

In even more exciting news, Deadline says the author has even agreed to develop and produce new projects for the network over the coming years. It isn't surprising that they've asked him to stay on: Since it launched way back in 2011 the series, based on Martin's novels, has become one of the network's most successful and highest rated of all time.

And sure isn't our own Jack Gleeson in it too lads? That's another good reason to keep going, obviously. HBO is due to screen the season 3 premiere  in the USA on March 31st, while fans here at home can catch it on Sky Atlantic from April 1st. And that's not a ridiculously early April Fool, we promise.
