The cast of Geordie Shore are well known for saying and doing some pretty risque things, but it's being reported that one starlet took things a bit too far by using a racial slur, and has been fired from the show as a result.

As per The Sun, Sophie Kasaei (who we would have always seen as the err, most tame of the bunch) has been given the boot after being captured on camera using the N word while the cast filmed scenes for series 7 last week.

She was immediately dropped from the show pending an investigation, but it seems that bosses have since decided to make the move a more permanent one. "After an incident last week, Sophie Kasaei was removed from Geordie Shore pending further investigation into alleged offensive behaviour." an MTV spokesperson said. "MTV and Lime Pictures have now taken the decision that it is inappropriate for Sophie to return to the show. We will be reiterating to the remaining cast members that offensive behaviour will not be tolerated."

They've really done themselves proud this summer eh? Sure weren't Vicky and Holly arrested for a nightclub fight in Newcastle last week, which left and 18-year-old with facial injuries? Of course, they have denied any wrongdoing, but it certainly ain't looking good for the angels of the north...
