If you happened to stay up to watch tonight's episode of 'Game of Thrones', you can only imagine how it went down on Twitter.
It goes without saying that there's spoilers below, so really, don't read this or our review of 'The Iron Throne' unless you've actually watched the episode.
So, could have it ended better? Could we have finally got some closure on all of this that would have kept everyone happy? Absolutely not, you silly sausage.
Still, the episode was clearly aware of how it was going down, and bringing back Edmure Tully as a joke - not to mention Samwell floating democracy - was the small bit of levity we needed.

Meanwhile, Bran's ascension to what's left of the Iron Throne didn't exactly go down a treat with people...
Bran sat throughout #GameOfThrones doing nothing. Lied that he didn't want to be king while allowing #JonSnow , Dany and everyone else do the heavy lifting. Only for him to end up ruling. #GOTFinale#TheFinalEpisode

Sansa telling Edmure to have a goddamn seat—glancing at him and then glancing at the chair to drive home the point—is a boss bitch move. #GameOfThrones
