We have a feeling HBO and the folks on 'Game of Thrones' are planning on having a lot of fun teasing us with teaser trailers until season 8 arrives. It's been so long since we have had a new episode though that we'll take what we can get, and they know it.

The first teaser trailer was dropped at the end of a panel at the Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil, with showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss and cast members Maisie Williams (Ara Stark) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarley).

Take a look:

Yep, so not exactly any actual footage, but it's all about the symbolism people, the symbolism!

It sees frost descending over a map of Westeros including a wolf and dragon map marker, while fire creeps across too, over a lion marker, before they meet in the middle.

The whole series of the 'Game of Thrones' books are called 'A Song of Ice and Fire' so it's no surprise that they are leaning in on this theme, and have been starting to do so the last couple of seasons.

It symbolises many things, including the inevitable battle that will take place between Daenerys and her dragons and the NIght King and his army. However, it also could be a reference to Jon Snow, who we now know officially is a combination of ice and fire - being both a Stark and a Targaryen.

What does this all mean for season 8? Shi*t is going to go DOWN.

Fans have also been sharing their theories about what the trailer means.
