The 'Friends' reunion dropped last week to the delight of fans all over the world.

To mark the debut of the TV special, one of the 'Friends' stars recreated an iconic moment from the beloved sitcom over the weekend.

Those who watched the show will undoubtedly recall the 'Friends' episode "The One with the Routine."

In it, siblings Monica (Courteney Cox) and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) are invited onto the set of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve", a show they've been a fan of for years.

Wanting to make it on camera, they resurrect a dance routine they made together in high school.

Now Courteney Cox has recreated said routine over twenty years later.

This time joining her was the superstar musician Ed Sheeran.

Who is a total Ross, so it's the perfect re-casting.

Both Sheeran and Cox shared it on their Instagram.

The 'Friends' star wrote: "Just some routine dancing with a friend…" adding the hashtag #reroutine and tagging Ed.

Ed Sheeran, giving out a shout-out to the 'Friends' reunion premiere, wrote: "Had a reunion of our own this weekend."

He tagged Courteney and added the hashtags: #theroutine #iknow #friends4eva #obviouslybetterthanross
