Just when we thought we couldn't do any more with this whole 'selfie' trend. They go and make a TV show about it. The news of this possible ABC comedy came out a couple weeks ago, but now that it has it's star, looks like its set to go ahead.
Former Doctor Who actress Karen Gillan will take the lead in the show which is set to be a modern take on Fair Lady according to Entertainment Weekly. The comedy will tell the tale of a self-obsessed twenty-something year old woman who becomes the unwanted subject of a viral video. She then decides she needs to enlist the help of a marketing expert at her company to help repair her tarnished image.
We always did wonder what happened to these viral stars - did David ever recover from the dentist? Is KPMG girl getting on alright in college?
Anyways, you will also see actress Karen Gillan in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy.
