It's almost two years since we were all checking under our beds at night for serial killer Paul Spector, but now it's only a matter of months before the third and final season of The Fall hits our screens.
Both Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson will be returning to their respective roles as Spector and DSI Stella Gibson, even though the last we saw of the serial killer he wasn't in very good shape after being shot by Jimmy Tyler.
The BBC has released two images today from the upcoming series, and unless they are planning on doing some flashbacks, it looks very much like Paul Spector is back fighting fit.
Series creator and writer Allan Cubitt teased what was in store in the final series earlier in the year, saying: "Obviously I don't want to give anything away about how the third series will end but I can say that I am looking forward to working with both Gillian and Jamie again in the near future!"
