It has been confirmed that the exit of Cory Monteith's character Finn from the series Glee will deal directly with drug abuse. Last month Moneith died from a mixed drug toxicity involving heroin and alcohol.

Fox President Kevin Reilly spoke about the episode at the Television Critic Association summer press tour yesterday (August 1st) saying: "That episode will deal with the incidents directly involved with Cory’s passing [including] drug use."

He also revealed that this episode will feature public service announcements from Ryan Murphy and other cast members which will also be drug related. It has not been confirmed if Finn will as a result of drugs.

Speaking on the future of the show Reilly said: "I would not anticipate it going beyond two more season. Look, never say never, but there’s two very clear arcs to get to the end and conclude. If we discover a new crop of mkids and there’s some breakout in life, who knows? But right now we’re just thinking about two more seasons."

All proceeds from this episode's music will go toward starting a fund in Monteith's name.
