The new series of 'The Great British Bake-Off' is only two weeks in, but people already have their favourites.
One of the most popular bakers has been 20-year-old Jamie, whose disastrous first week was followed by an equally disastrous second week, as shown in last night's episode.
The sweet-but-inept part-time waiter's attempts at fig rolls, chocolate biscuits and a guitar-shaped showstopper went horribly awry, but people loved him for trying, nevertheless.
Unfortunately his popularity and enthusiasm weren't enough to save him from Paul and Prue's judgement, and he was booted off the show after just two weeks. And we didn't even get to see his attempt at bread.
Here's what Twitter had to say about his departure...
He came. He baked. He smiled. What a joy it's been to have Jamie in the Bake Off tent! #GBBO pic.twitter.com/8pB4nRZXqV

You know that series of Celebrity Big Brother where Chantelle wasn’t a celebrity but had to convince the others she was? Is Jamie doing that but for baking? #GBBO
