It seems as though someone in Holland is just as unhappy about Got Talent judge Gordon's less than politically correct antics as the rest of the world and they're certainly not going to let their country take the heat for his actions.
In a piece entitled 'ON BEHALF OF THE NETHERLANDS: WE'RE SORRY FOR THIS GUY' (ok, we get it, there's no need to shout) Dutch website Flabber profusely apologies for (real name) Cornelis Willem Heuckeroth's comments about a Chinese opera singer. If you missed the whole fiasco head over yonder and wait for your blood to boil.
"After Gordon's appearance went viral yesterday, we're the laughing stock of the world. Again", the piece says. "The whole world thinks our country is filled with idiots and racists, and that's only partly true. Seriously, we're nice people. This Gordon guy is just a big douche. Our apologies."
And then, just to prove their point, they reveal that Gordon has a habit of saying rather inappropriate things on telly and seems to like nothing more than laughing at his own rather tasteless jokes.
