The second season of 'Derry Girls' kicked off last night and it was the breath of hilarious fresh air we all hoped it would be. Between the perfectly timed one-liners and the downright impeccable music choices, 'Derry Girls' has already proved it's more than a one season hit.
Last night's opening episode saw the girls and the wee English fella head off an outdoor pursuits weekend which aimed to bring Protestant and Catholic school kids together as part of the peace initiative.
And the Catholic and Protestant jokes were aplenty, with a whole load you may not have even caught written up on that blackboard.
Fans were loving it and the reactions on Twitter were almost as funny as the episode.
Things we share....
Catholics have more freckles
Protestants hate ABBA
Catholic’s like statues
Protestants are richer......

Every beat, every line, every performance, every situation in #DerryGirls is so breathtakingly perfect, one would have to conclude that Lisa Magee is a genius. The music choices also!
