James Corden invited the current and previous Doctors for a special video call with some fans who had been set quite a difficult task.

'The Late Late Show' host James Corden invited six 'Doctor Who' superfans from the internet to participate in a cosplay competition, where they would have to recreate specific characters from the sci-fi franchise only by using items from around their homes. And judging the creations were the current and previous Doctors Jodie Whittaker and David Tennant. Here's how the 'Doctor Who' cosplay went from bad to worse.

Recreating characters from your home might not sound too difficult, but when the ones you have to tackle are so intricate, the pressure certainly mounts. Having to create their own versions of characters such as the Face of Boe, Cyberman, and The Kavaavin (which is so bad, David Tennant quips "You've let yourself down, you've let the show down"), these reworkings are abominations. But it's all for a bit of fun, and the pair of them get plenty of laughs out of these monstrosities.

Jodie Whittaker is of course the latest Doctor to take up the mantle, being the first female to do such a feat as the 13th iteration of the character. David Tennant, however, was the tenth actor to take on the infamous role, and was also voted as the nation's favourite Doctor in the past.

Here's the questionable 'Doctor Who' cosplay for you.
