We haven't heard much from David Schwimmer since his Friends days really - yeah there have been some movies, some TV show appearances, but nothing quite as iconic as his Ross Geller role. Well actually, he DID play Melman the giraffe in Madagascar pretty well, so there's that.
He is now planning his TV comeback in a new comedy pilot called Irreversible. The new ABC show is actually based on an Israeli hit show called Bilti Hafich ('irreversible' in Hebrew). Schwimmer will play one half of an eccentric, self-absorbed couple. Hmmm...MAYBE, they will get Jennifer Aniston to play his wife and we could finally get the spin-off we'd all like to see?
We're not really sure we can watch Schwimmer be part of any couple other than Ross and Rachel, but look, maybe it's time he shook off his Ross Geller character typing once and for all. We're rooting for you Schwimmer.
