It turns out the 'Friends' reunion is just around the corner. An update has come from the horse's mouth - David Schwimmer.
He's gone on to shoot other series and films, but David Schwimmer will forever be Ross Geller in our hearts.
Like so many other projects, the much anticipated 'Friends' has been met with various delays.
But it's more than back on track, as Schwimmer revealed in an interview on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show.
He said that filming for the reunion is set for April. David Schwimmer also noted that it will be partly filmed outdoors.
The actor told Cohen: "In little over a month I'm heading over to LA.
"We figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we film outside. You know, for safety protocols."
When asked who's hosting the special, he said: "I don't know if I can say who.
"It's not Ellen [DeGeneres], it's not Billy Crystal. I could tell you who it's not."
Lisa Kudrow, who plays Phoebe Buffay on the show, previously said she's already filmed something for the TV special.
The rest of the six leads - Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt Le Blanc and Courteney Cox - will all be back for the reunion.
Aniston had previously said the special will be "even more exciting and more fun" after the delay.
She noted that they were waiting until they could film it safely, saying: "Unfortunately it’s very sad that we had to move it again. It was, 'How do we do this with live audiences?’
"This is not a safe time. Period. That’s the bottom line. It’s not a safe time to do it … It's going to be super.
"You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been.
"So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of 'Friends', sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys."
'Friends' is streaming on Netflix on this side of the pond.
The reunion special will debut on American streaming service HBO Max. There is no release date for it just yet.
